HI-CAPA BASE/LOANER GUN
Which base Hi-capa is right for me? There is no once right answer as to which exact model to choose, however there is one right answer as to which brand to choose from. All aftermarket Hi-capa parts are modeled after the TM. Not the AW, not the KJW. YOU WILL RUN INTO COMPATABILITY ISSUES IF YOU DONT USE THE TM BASE. Even within TM, some parts specifically designed for TM's are not drop in and require modification. If aftermarket parts are not even drop in to the Hi-capa they are designed for, you can know for sure that you will run into issues using them with Hi-capas that they are not designed for
There are 2 things to ask yourself when your choosing your base H-capa:
5.1 or 4.3? 5.1 vs 4.3...I get this question alot...I always answer the same thing: Whatever once you'll prefer. 4.3's are my personal favorite, as I like how short and compact they are. The downsides to the 4.3 models are that there are not as much aftermarket slide options, and the FPS is lower due to the shorter barrel. 5.1's on the other hand have the most aftermarket slide and barrel options and shoot more fps. TM 5.1 and 4.3 parts ARE interchangable. A 5.1 slide will fit a 43 frame and a. 4.3 slide will fit a 5.1 frame; though it might look a little odd. All internal parts are interchangable other than the outer barrels and inner barrels (they are compatible, just you dont want a inner barrel longer than the outer barrel unless your running a comp or suppressor, and a shorter/longer outer barel than slide will not look good).

Gold Match or standard? I also get asked this question alot: which is better the Gold match or the standard 5.1? My answer is that the gold match is a little nicer but this should be the deciding factor: If you are gonna use gold in your build, get the gold match. If your not gonna use gold, get the standard and put that extra $40 into upgrades.

SLIDE
Aftermarket slides give the personality to your gun. They make a big difference as to how your gun will look and perform as well as play a big part in the gun's reliability, smoothness, and cycle speed. Here are my recommendations of what your options should be.

CHEAPEST OPTION: STOCK TM SLIDE If you have a very minimal amount of money to spend on your stock hi capa, put it inot other internal upgrades rather than it all on a slide. There are more important parts to have upgraded than the slide to have a nice hi capa.

BEST BUDGET: SANCTUS CUSTOMS 4.3 SLIDES Priced at $65, you are getting a baragin. These slides are built for the best performance. At grams, these slides are supre snappy, efficient and have 0 recoil and suprising durability. The downsides of these slides are that they are only in 4.3 size (also a plus for some people), and that durability is definatly more of a question compared to aluminum slides. These slides are rather new to the market, and only time can tell how durable they are in the long run. Though I must say that I have never seen nor heard of a single Sanctus slide break. I would reccomend Sancus Customs 3D printed 4.3 slides to people on a budget who want performance and looks at a low price, as they are cheaper than aluminum slides. I would also reccomend them to people going for cycle rate builds, as they are super light and snappy.

BEST OVERALL: AIRSOFT MASTERPIECE ALUMINUM SLIDE:The best overall option and my go to option is an Aluminum Slide from Airsoft Masterpiece. At around $100 each, just can't go wrong with one of these, they have it all: performance, looks, durability, compatability, quality etc. These slides last a lifetime. There is a TON of models and colors. Airsoft Masterpiece slides come in batches, making some models and colors very hard to get after they sell out. I would reccoment these slides to everybody!

TOP TIER: AIRSOFT MASTERPIECE OPEN SLIDE KIT: These slides are the best it gets, and the price shows that at $300+. They usually incude an outer barrel and BBU. They perform amazing and most of all look amazing. If you have the money to spend and you want to stand out and look unique, these are good options for you.

BBU
The Blow Back Housing is a good part to upgrade, as you will see a noticable difference in cycle speed and overall smootheness and effeciancy over the stock TM. Really any BBU from a good quality company will do your job. My personal go-to is the AM, as they are just so reliable. Some good BBU's are
-
AM Standard Housing
-
AIP
-
UAC/COWCOW
-
Edge Lightweight
Overall if you have the money, I'd reccomend upgrading to a Lightweight housing.

LOADING NOZZLE:
I used to go through nozzles pretty quickly. That's before I found what works. A good aftermarket nozzle will be a good upgrade, as it will increase the durability and efficiency.
I
Best Overall: Guarder nozzle: As far as I know, guarder nozzles are indestructible. I have never seen, or heard of a guarder nozzle breaking. They are compatible with all the BBU's I've tried

Best Budget option: Airsoft Masterpiece nozzle:At $10 each, AM nozzles work pretty well. They're durable and cheap, and fit with most BBU's, overall a good option for the money.

And Aluminum Nozzles? Honestly, I am not a fan of aluminum nozzles. They're expensive and unneccesary IMO, the few that I have tried I have had issues with. Other people have had different results, however I don't see why you should choose an aluminum nozzle over a Guarder.
